Your body is designed to heal itself. When all the parts and systems of the body communicate with each other, healing happens naturally. However, the stress of our daily lives can cause communication breakdowns, resulting in symptoms and conditions.

BodyTalk is all about helping the body/mind to get rid of the stress it is holding onto. Stress that can eventually (or has already) manifested as dis-ease and dis-order. It reestablishes blocked or stuck communication within the body and the mind so that healing can take place on a mental, physical and emotional level.

An In-person Session

The session begins by discussing the clients' health status and whatever other personal issues they may wish to address. Then they will relax fully clothed on a comfortable massage table while the practitioner gently uses their arm in such a manner to establish Yes/No communication with the body’s Innate Wisdom. (This Yes/No communication is also called neuromuscular biofeedback, which is similar to applied kinesiology.) The practitioner will then ask the clients body what communication circuits have become compromised (aka, where the stress has thrown things out of whack) and in which order these lines of communication need to be repaired for the fastest possible healing process to occur. The amazing thing about your body is that it knows exactly what you need, and in what order, so your session is completely guided by your individual priorities in that specific session. No two sessions are ever the same. 

Once the items that are a priority for balance have been discovered, the practitioner will lightly tap you on the top of the head, which stimulates your brain and causes it to initiate corrections to the broken circuits, then tap on the sternum to “save” the corrected energy circuit in the heart center and to share this information with every single cell in the body, then tap on the navel in order to integrate these changes.

An Over-the-phone
Session

A BodyTalk session performed over the phone is very similar to the in-person session. You will need to find a comfortable place to lie down while the session is conducted. It starts the same way by discussing the clients' health status and whatever other personal issues they may wish to address. Then using your body's innate wisdom, the practitioner will determine which communication circuits have been compromised and in which order they need to be repaired, and will then guide you through the proper tapping sequence to be self-performed.

Jessica spent more than a decade teaching Zumba, fitness classes, personal training, and nutritional coaching. An intense physical regimen like that coupled with the everyday stresses of work, social, and home life can cause a body (and mind) to break down and give rise to chronic injuries and conditions.

 

After trying the traditional massage and chiropractic methods, and finding they weren’t offering the relief she sought, Jessica went in search of something that would encompass more the whole body and mind aspects of healing. This is when she discovered BodyTalk and how it helps to uncover the underlying mental and emotional aspects of illness and shows you how to get back to a healthy state of being. Jessica became a BodyTalk practitioner so that she could share this amazing whole body & mind system with others.
